Many users expressed their views on Musk’s post. One user said, “I think it is right to take this job.” To which Musk replied, “He’s perfect for the job.”

In December last year, Musk said he would run the software and server teams only if he found “a new CEO” to replace him.
He made the statement in response to a poll where 57.5 per cent of the respondents said that he should step down as CEO of Twitter.
