Billionaire Elon Musk, best known for his ventures in electric cars, space exploration and social media, has launched his much-anticipated artificial intelligence startup, xAI. This company of Musk is going to compete with ChatGPT. The website said that the goal of XAI is to understand the true nature of the universe.

The team is led by Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, and will include executives who have previously worked at leading companies in the field of artificial intelligence. Which includes Google, Microsoft, DeepMind and Tesla. According to the company’s website, on Friday i.e. July 14, Musk and his team will share the information related to it with the world in a live Twitter space chat and will also give people a chance to ask questions.

Build a talented team for xAI

Musk was the co-founder of OpenAI, the company responsible for ChatGPT, he resigned from its board in 2018 to focus on Tesla. According to the information received, Musk has assembled a talented team for xAI, which includes experienced people in major tech companies. Team members include Igor Babushkin, formerly of Google’s DeepMind. Tony Wu, a former Google employee; Christian Szegedi, a research scientist at Google; and Greg Yang, who previously worked at Microsoft.

Let us tell you that Musk had said in April itself that he would launch TruthGPT AI to compete with Google’s Bard and Microsoft’s Bing AI, which tries to understand the nature of the universe.

For this reason xAI was launched on July 12.

Giving a hint on why Musk chose July 12, 2023 to announce the launch of xAI, he said in a tweet that the date ‘adding 7-12-23 comes to 42’. In fact, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is a science fiction classic by Douglas Adams. In this, the number 42 has been described as the answer to life, universe and everything.
