What is the objective of the program?
The program aims to enable owners to experience their Maruti SUV outside the city roads with curated outdoor experiences. Two types of formats have been included in this, which include ‘Rock N Road Expedition’ and ‘Rock N Road Weekenders’. Under this, short and long adventure drives are being offered. There is also a multi-city off-road championship ‘Rock N Road 4X4 Masters’ to recognize off-roading talent in the country.
The program will be organized in two phases
According to media reports, this event led by Jimny will be organized in two phases, in which qualifiers will be held in 8 cities. After this there will also be a grand finale. At the same time, the Offroad Championship will provide a platform to off-roading enthusiasts and experts to showcase their skills against competitors from across India.
Rock N Road SUV Experience Drive begins
The Rock N Road Expedition was flagged off from Chandigarh by Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited. It involves a convoy of 14 Maruti Suzuki Jimny SUVs that travels through the mountains to Kaza, passing through Tabo, covering a distance of 539 km in 6 days.
The expedition will pass through Spiti Valley
The expedition will pass through the Spiti Valley, delving into the hidden corners of the Himalayan forest and exploring unknown landscapes with emerald rivers, blue skies and a blanket of old white ice.
