From wife to grandson are busy in election campaign

There are elections in four phases for 29 Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh. The most talked about seats in the state are Chhindwara, Rajgarh, Vidisha and Guna, because veteran leaders are in the fray from these high profile seats. Now, along with their workers, their family members have also taken up the cause for these leaders.

Wife, son and grandson are seeking votes in Rajgarh: Congress has made former CM and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijay Singh its candidate from Rajgarh. Earlier in 1991, he had contested the last Lok Sabha elections from Rajgarh. After this, now again Digvijay Singh is in the fray from Rajgarh. His contest is against BJP MP Rodmal Nagar.

There is a challenge for Digvijay Singh because of the schemes of the Center and Nagar contesting the elections in the name of Modi. His son Jaivardhan Singh won the assembly elections by 4500 votes. His brother Laxman Singh has lost the assembly elections from Chachoda seat of the same parliamentary constituency. Now his wife Amrita Singh and son Jaivardhan Singh are asking for votes for him. Besides, his 10 year old grandson is also appealing to vote for his grandfather.

Priyadarshini Raje and Mahaaryaman engaged in campaigning in Guna.

On Guna seat, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has canceled the ticket of sitting MP KP Yadav and has made Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia its candidate. Congress has also placed its bet on Yadvendra Singh Yadav by playing the Yadav card here. In 2019, Scindia lost the election from Guna parliamentary constituency to KP Yadav on Congress Party ticket.

In 2020, he left Congress and joined BJP. Along with making him a Union Minister, BJP has also made him its candidate from Guna. His wife Maharani Priyadarshini Raje and son Mahaaryaman are leading the campaign for Scindia.

Nath family also entered the field in Chhindwara

Congress has again nominated former CM Kamal Nath’s son and current MP Nakul Nath as its candidate for Chhindwara seat. Here BJP has placed its bet on Bunty Sahu. This time the difficulties for Kamal Nath’s close ones to join BJP have increased.

In such a situation, his father Kamal Nath, mother and wife have also entered the field for Nakul Nath. The entire family is reaching out to the public. Kamal Nath is making an emotional appeal to the public. This time the election is a question of Kamal Nath’s reputation. BJP has put in all its efforts to penetrate their stronghold.

Wife and son came out for Shivraj

Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan is contesting from Vidisha parliamentary seat. At the same time, Congress has given ticket to former MP Pratap Bhanu Sharma. Shivraj has been MP from this seat five times. This seat has been a stronghold of BJP. Now Shivraj is trying hard to register a record victory from this seat. His wife Sadhna Singh and son Kartikeya are also active for him. Former CM is continuously touring the area.
