Which places are allowed to go

Let us tell you that the capital of India is ready to host the G20 summit on September 9 and 10 in Delhi. Therefore, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued a gazette notification imposing traffic restrictions in the city from September 8. As per the guidelines issued by the Delhi government, people living in Delhi, their authorized vehicles, emergency vehicles, vehicles going to the airport, vehicles of passengers traveling to Old Delhi, New Delhi, Hazrat Nizamuddin railway stations, New Delhi Will be allowed to run on the road network of the district.

Ban on vehicles coming from Dhaula Kuan

Along with this, let us also tell you that during the G-20 summit, normal traffic except goods vehicles and buses will be allowed to enter Delhi from Rajokri border and compulsorily from NH-48 to Rao Tula Ram Marg. and will be diverted to Olof Palme Marg. No vehicle movement will be allowed on NH-48 towards Dhaula Kuan.

Ban on TSR and taxis

TSRs and taxis will not be allowed to enter or ply in New Delhi district from 5 am on September 9 till 11:59 am on September 10. All types of goods vehicles, commercial vehicles, interstate buses and local city buses will not run. Restrictions will continue on some routes from the midnight of 7 and 8 September till the midnight of 10 September.

Which routes will be banned

These routes include Mathura Road (beyond Ashram Chowk), Bhairon Road, Purana Qila Road and Pragati Maidan inside the tunnel. However, goods vehicles with valid permission such as milk, vegetables, fruits, medical supplies and other essential items will be allowed to enter the city. All types of commercial vehicles including buses already present in Delhi will be allowed to ply on the road network on the Ring Road and beyond the Ring Road towards the borders of Delhi. In addition, vehicles engaged in maintenance of the armed forces, paramilitary forces, police, disaster management, fire tenders, ambulances and emergency services such as road maintenance, power supply, water or sewage lines, communication networks, etc. will be allowed to move.
