The company said that with the launch in Japan on April 20, the global launch of the Galaxy S23 series will be completed in some countries in the Middle East and Africa this month.

President and Head of Mobile Experience Business, Samsung Electronics, Dr. T.M. Roh had said last month that the premium smartphone market in India is set to grow despite the economic slowdown.

Samsung recorded over 140,000 pre-bookings for its premium Galaxy S23 series in India in just 24 hours, which was double the number of pre-bookings for the Galaxy S22 series last year.
