Union Minister Arjun Munda was present as a special guest. He presented gold medals and degrees to the students present in traditional attire. 76 students were given gold medals. A total of 4043 students were awarded degrees in the convocation ceremony. Governor CP Radhakrishnan said that the youth of India are making their place everywhere in the world on the strength of their knowledge and I have full confidence that the youth of Ranchi University will bring glory to their parents, Jharkhand and the country. He said that instead of being satisfied with your achievements, you should continuously set big goals and strive towards them, only then we will fulfill the dream of a developed India in 2027. During this, he gave the mantra to the students for success in life.

Special guest Union Minister Arjun Munda said that the basic objective of the convocation ceremony is to introduce the world to our intellectual capacity. We have to make a developed India in 2047. We need to plan and work for future needs from now on. CBSE 740 plus two schools will be opened in Jharkhand. He said that Ranchi University is doing very good work in every field from education to tribal languages in Jharkhand. He said that many times there were proposals to change the name of this oldest university of Jharkhand, but I refused because Ranchi and Ranchi University have their own unique vibration.
