Government instructed to file reply in Law University case

Ranchi (Senior Correspondent). Jharkhand High Court heard the PIL filed regarding providing basic facilities to the National Law University Jharkhand located in Nagdi, Kanke. After hearing the sides, the division bench of Justice Rangan Mukhopadhyay and Justice Deepak Roshan asked CCL and SAIL whether they could cooperate in building the boundary wall of the university or not. On this, it was told by CCL and SAIL that no application for this has been given by the university. On receipt of the application, instructions were given from the concerned officer to inform the court. The division bench directed JREDA to take action to rectify the malfunction of the solar panel of the Law University. The division bench also directed the state government to file a reply on the issue of providing basic facilities to the university. The division bench fixed May 7 for the next hearing of the case. Earlier, the division bench was told by the university that the solar panel that was installed was damaged. That needs to be fixed. It is noteworthy that a Public Interest Litigation has been filed by the applicant Bar Association in the Jharkhand High Court.
