Governor CP Radhakrishnan in Chamber’s program: Strong will is necessary for good governance, MSME will have to change its pattern.

Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan said that political parties will have to show strong will for the development of the state. Unless these parties work with this thinking, no kind of development is possible. In democracy the people have the right to vote. Take the path of voting for good governance.

The Governor was addressing a function organized by Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce on Saturday. In the program organized at Bistupur Chamber Bhawan, the Governor said that MSME entrepreneurs will have to change the way of carrying forward their enterprises. People associated with the industry will also have to explain to their family members that they can bring a big change in their lives by being in this industry. The existing MSMEs have still stuck to their old patterns, while the recent startups have gone far ahead of them.

The Governor said that infrastructure is necessary for the development of any area. It is natural to face problems here due to the absence of an airport. The Governor said that Singhbhum Chamber should increase its role. There is a need to maintain coordination with other big chambers of the country and focus on the entire state rather than limiting business and industrial development to Kolhan. The steel company here is years old. Even after this the development here did not happen at that pace. Whereas in other states and cities, there was a lot of development along with the companies formed later. The more MSMEs develop, the more the country will benefit and the economy will become stronger. There is a lot of potential here in the field of tourism, but it is not possible overnight. For this the plan will have to be focused.

Daughters are proving themselves in every field: Governor CP Radhakrishnan

Earlier, Jharkhand Governor cum Chancellor CP Radhakrishnan attended the first convocation of Jamshedpur Women’s University as the chief guest. He said that the daughters of the country are proving themselves in every field with full confidence and are waving the flag of excellence. Daughters have proved that they are no less than anyone. On the occasion, he awarded gold medals to 28 girl toppers of various subjects and degrees to 702 girl students.

In the welcome address at the ceremony, Chamber President Vijay Anand Moonka said that Jharkhand is full of mineral wealth and natural beauty. There is enough potential in every field here, but even after 23 years as a separate state, development has not happened as much as people had expected. He also raised the issue of no progress in the construction of the airport despite the foundation stone being laid. The issues of high quality health facilities in the state, lack of higher educational institutions, tourism, city development and backwardness of Jharkhand state in industrial development were also placed before the Governor.

Kiriburu should be developed as a tourism centre: Kedia

During the program, former president Muralidhar Kedia raised the issue of taking necessary steps to develop the hill station Kiriburu as a tourist area. Former president Ashok Bhalotia appealed to make better policies for small industries in the state. Secretary Bharat Makani welcomed the Governor by covering him with a shawl. Lipu Sharma started the program. In the program, Vice President Puneet Kanwatiya introduced the Governor, while Vice President Abhishek Aggarwal Goldy gave detailed information about the chamber. The stage was conducted by General Secretary Manav Kedia and the vote of thanks was done by Vice President Anil Modi.

Apart from Deputy Commissioner, SSP, SDO, many other administrative officers were present on this occasion. Former president AK Srivastava, Umesh Kanwatia, Ashok Bhalotia, Krishna Sharma Kali, Bhavani Shankar Gupta, Saurabh Sanghi Sunny, Inderjit Singh Bindra, Ramesh Aggarwal, Umesh Kheerwal, Pawan Naredi, Manoj Goyal, Deepak Chetani, Vishnu were present at the Chamber Bhavan to greet the Governor.
