Ranchi: Normal heart patients admitted in the cardiology department will also get stents and pacemakers at affordable rates. For this, RIMS management has issued instructions to Amrit Pharmacy. At the same time, it has also been asked to spread publicity regarding this. At present, in the cardiology department, stents and pacemakers are being provided at affordable rates only to the beneficiaries associated with Ayushman and other schemes.
Here, RIMS management will also request the doctors of the cardiology department to inform the general patients about getting stents and pacemakers from Amrit Pharmacy. This will cost less to the patients. At the same time, Amrit Pharmacy is providing branded medicines to the patients at affordable rates.

RIMS Superintendent Dr. Hirendra Birua said that instructions have been given to Amrit Pharmacy to ensure that stents and pacemakers are available to general patients at affordable rates. Sheds will be built in RIMS for the convenience of patients, proposal ready
For the convenience of patients, sheds will be constructed at various places in RIMS. A shed will be built between the multi storage parking ward and the main hospital. At the same time, the second shed will be built connecting the Cancer Ward to the Dental College and the Super Specialty Wing. Apart from this, a shed will also be built from the paying ward to the central emergency. Deputy Superintendent Dr Shailesh Tripathi said that the road below the shed will be made such that trolleys and stretchers can easily move on it. Its proposal has been ready. The agency will be selected by issuing tender soon. It is hoped that the shed will be constructed before summer. At present a shed has been constructed near the blood bank and the old trauma centre.
