It is being told that from July 27 to July 31, more than 50 thousand units have been booked. After the response received from the public, the company has decided to extend the booking date at the introductory price.
Ola’s cheapest scooter S1 Pro
Comes as a cheaper model of the company’s popular electric scooter S1 Pro. This toned-down model of the Ola S1 Pro has removed some features and added a new design, but the overall styling remains the same as the older model. Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Agarwal announced in a tweet that the EV maker has extended the offer price of Rs 1.1 lakh for the S1 Air electric scooter to all customers beyond the reserve following huge demand. This offer is available till 15th August.
Ola S1 Air to rival TVS iQube and Ather 450S
The Ola S1 Air electric scooter will compete against the TVS iQube and the upcoming Ather 450S, which is scheduled to launch on 3 August. Despite retaining the basic silhouette of the Ola S1 Pro, the S1 Air electric scooter comes with telescopic front forks and twin shocks. Being based on the same platform as the Ola S1 Pro, it is equipped with drum brakes at both the ends. It gets a new neon green paint scheme and a practical grab rail.
What is the battery and range of Ola S1 Air?
Powering the Ola S1 Air electric scooter is a small 3 kWh battery pack, which offers a range of 125 km on a single charge. Power is generated by a 4.5 kW hub motor that produces six Bhp of maximum power, allowing the scooter to accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just 3.3 seconds. Ola Electric claims that this electric scooter can run at a top speed of 90 kmph.

Ola Electric is using a 4.5 kW electric motor, which is hub mounted. Now if we talk about the performance of Ola’s S1 air scooter, then it can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in 3.3 seconds, while it can reach 60 kmph in 5.7 seconds. The top speed of the scooter is 90 kmph and it comes with three riding modes. These are Eco, Normal and Sports.

Talking about the hardware of the new electric scooter from Ola, the suspension work on the S1 Air is handled by telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The braking setup includes drum brakes at the front and rear. Also, the company has changed the floorboard to a flat design and the rear grab rail is comfortable. The S1 comes with steel wheels instead of the air alloy wheels.

Now talking about the new scooter of Ola Electric, the S1 Air scooter comes with a 7-inch screen, which has a resolution of 800×840. It is equipped with features like cruise control, proximity unlock, call alert, party mode, navigation, vacation mode, digital key, document storage, profile and mood.
