4 Upcoming 7-Seater Cars From Hyundai and Kia: South Korean company Hyundai and its associate Kia Motors will launch 4 large 7 seater SUVs in India in the coming 24 months or two years. These include two MPVs and two electric cars. It is likely that these four cars can be launched by the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025.

Among Kia’s flagship, Kia EV9 electric car can be launched in the Indian car market in late 2024 or early 2025. After coming in the market, its ex-showroom price can start from around Rs 80 lakh. Kia EV9 has a large battery pack and its certified range on full charge is 482 kilometers. It supports fast charging up to 350 kilowatts. Due to this, it takes less than 30 minutes to charge its battery from 0 to 80 percent. It has a 27-inch display, which has integrated infotainment touchscreen and digital driver display. Apart from this, it also has rotating seats and panoramic sunroof. For the safety of passengers, it can be provided with features like multiple airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and rear parking sensor. Kia EV9 will compete with Mercedes-Benz EQB and Volvo EX90.
New-gen Kia Carnival
The new Kia Carnival car can be launched by April 2024. The ex-showroom price of the fourth generation Kia Carnival can start from Rs 40 lakh. This MPV car will come in 7, 9 and 11-seater layout as per the market. In this luxury MPV car of Kia, three engine options petrol, diesel and hybrid will be given in the international market. The company has also announced the addition of a new 1.6-litre turbo-petrol hybrid powertrain. It is estimated that petrol engine option can be given in the Indian version of Carnival MPV. The new Kia Carnival car has features like integrated screen setup (one for infotainment and the other for the driver), new climate control panel and rotary drive mode selector. For safety, it has been provided with features like multiple airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors. Apart from this, it will also get many ADAS features, which will include lane-keep assist, blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift
Hyundai Alcazar facelift has been spotted several times testing on Indian roads. Its launch may happen at the end of 2024. It will be based on the recently updated Creta platform. The interior of Alcazar can be given many new features including Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Specifically, the Alcazar is already equipped with a new 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine generating 160 PS and 253 Nm.
