Hyundai Creta Facelift: South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai Motor will launch its new Creta facelift for customers in the Indian car market in January 2024. Hyundai launched the second generation of Creta SUV car in 2020. After this, this model joined the list of top selling cars of the car manufacturing company. It is likely that Hyundai will unveil the Creta facelift car on January 16, 2024.
Hyundai Creta facelift design
According to media reports, the entire silhouette of Hyundai Creta facelift will remain changed. Together, many small changes will go a long way in making this SUV more modern. Spy shots have also been taken during the test of Hyundai Creta facelift, in which updated LED headlight setup, a new and larger radiator grille and new LED tail lights can be given. Creta will get a new set of LED DRL, split LED headlights and LED taillights. Hyundai is likely to use the same H-shaped headlight and taillight signature that was first introduced in the Exeter SUV. Apart from this, the spy shots have also revealed the design of the new roof and alloy wheels on the SUV. The grille is expected to get a parametric design with tweaked bumpers on both ends.
Hyundai Creta Facelift Interior
Many changes are also expected in the interior of Creta facelift. The carmaker is likely to introduce a larger touchscreen infotainment screen along with an updated digital instrument cluster. Apart from other changes in the interior of the SUV, new features like ADAS capability, 260-degree camera, seat ventilation, updated upholstery are also expected.
Hyundai Creta Facelift Engine and Transmission
The Hyundai Creta facelift can be offered in the market with 1.5-litre petrol and diesel units, which are currently used in BS-6 Phase-2 variants. Hyundai is expected to add a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit with a 7-speed DCT gearbox in this edition. Currently it is used in Alcazar SUV. Transmission is likely to be between a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, 6-speed automatic as well as CVT and 7-speed DCT gearbox.
Hyundai Creta facelift competition
Hyundai Creta is currently at the forefront in the compact SUV segment. When launched in the new avatar, it will compete with new SUVs like the Kia Seltos and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara as well as the Honda Elevate SUV in India. Hyundai has recently launched the Adventure Edition model of the SUV. Currently, Creta is available in six broad variants with both petrol and diesel engines. Its ex-showroom price in India starts from Rs 10.87 lakh to Rs 19.20 lakh.
