MG Comet EV Price

MG Motor has started the delivery of Comet EV car in India. The ex-showroom price of MG Comet EV in India starts from Rs 7.98 lakh, going up to Rs 9.98 lakh. This car comes in three variants, which include Pace, Play and Plush. Comet EV comes in two dual-tone and three monotone color options, which include Starry Black-Apple Green, Starry Black-Candy White, Aurora Silver, Candy White and Starry Black. This is a 2-door car, which can seat four people.

MG Comet EV Battery Pack and Range

MG Comet EV has a 17.3 kWh battery pack, whose range on full charge is 230 kilometers. The electric motor installed in it generates power of 42 PS and torque of 110 Nm. It takes about seven hours to fully charge its battery with a 3.3 KW charger.

Features and competition of MG Comet EV

This small electric car has features like LED headlamps and taillamps, integrated dual screen setup (10.25 inch infotainment and instrument cluster) with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, more than 55 connected car features and keyless entry. At the same time, for the safety of the passengers, it has features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensor, ISOFIX child seat anchor and reverse parking camera. There is currently no car available in the market to directly compete with MG Comet EV, but in this price range, it can be chosen as an alternative to Tata Tiago EV and Citroen EC3.
