Bokaro, Ranjit Kumar: In Bokaro, liquor traders used the name of CISF to smuggle liquor. Illegal liquor smuggling was being carried out indiscriminately by putting CISF board on Bolero. A large quantity of foreign liquor was recovered during the raid. Assistant Commissioner Product Umashankar Singh got information about the matter. On Saturday, based on secret information, a raid team was formed under the leadership of Inspector Product Sadar Sandeep Dev. The production team and Balidih OP police force jointly raided the house of Pradeep Mandal in Mohanpur village.
Illegal foreign liquor recovered
After the raid, Mahindra Bolero (JH10AJ-3568) parked outside the house and a large quantity of illegal foreign liquor were recovered from the house. The raiding team was successful in seizing 449.28 liters of foreign liquor, 2200 pieces of empty bottles, 12000 pieces of bottle caps, 3500 pieces of liquor company labels, a Mahindra Bolero (JH10AJ-3568) from the spot.

Illegal liquor was smuggled at night by putting CISF board in front of the vehicle. An FIR was registered under the Excise Act against accused Pradeep Mandal, Sandeep Mandal and others. The raiding team included Product Sadar Inspector Sanjeet Dev, Sub Inspector Product Sadar Krishna Prajapatti, Sub Inspector Product Tenughat Deepika Kumari and deputed home guard.
