The family members created a ruckus for some time, accusing the doctor of negligence. Later the dead body was taken away by the relatives. On the same night, four people reached the doctor posted on emergency duty and got into a verbal altercation with the doctor, abusing them. On Wednesday, he met Medical Superintendent Dr. Anusan Purti and gave detailed information about the incident and demanded to make strong security arrangements. Later the doctors closed the OPD service, registration counter and medicine counter. During that time, there were queues of patients in all the departments of OPD. On receiving information about OPD closure, city police station in-charge cum inspector Amit Kumar Lakra reached PJMCH. Where he talked to the superintendent and doctors. Doctors demanded to make security arrangements in the hospital. The station in-charge talked to the senior officers and assured to solve the problem and immediately provide security arrangements to the city police station. Police have seized CCTV footage of those who misbehaved with doctors during Holi. On the basis of CCTV footage, the police has started searching for the accused and taking action.
