Injured youth dies on the roadside in Giridih, mother expresses fear of murder, road jammed in protest

Khorimhua (Giridih): Of Jharkhand Giridih A young man was found injured on the roadside on Friday near Babhni under Ghodthamba OP of the district. OP Police was taking him to the hospital for treatment, but he died on the way. Here, the family members blocked the road alleging murder and demanding arrest of the accused. According to the information, on Friday afternoon, fifteen year old Sudhir Kumar Sao, father of Sunil Sao, resident of Taranakho in OP area, was lying bleeding in a critical condition on the roadside near Bhabni (Pathalkudwa), half a kilometer away from his house. After the information, OP in-charge reached the spot and sent him in 108 ambulance to Dhanwar Referral Hospital for treatment, while the injured child died on the way.

Expressed protest by blocking the road
Here, the family members of the deceased child blocked Taranakho Chowk located on Giridih-Koderma main road at around 2 o’clock. The family members demanded that their child has been murdered and the road will remain blocked until the killers are arrested. After about six hours, the jam could be removed after the persuasion of local MP representative Jaiprakash Saha, revenue employee Jaidev Rai, Safiq Ansari, Siraj Ansari etc. During this, the OP in-charge assured strict and fair action. Anju Devi, mother of the deceased, told that her younger daughter Rakhi Kumari (sister of the deceased) told her that her brother was murdered by Junaid Ansari of the village. Said that the police hurriedly ran away with his son. Although according to people, after the statement of the mother, the OP in-charge had gone to the house of the accused, but the young man was not found in the house. It is said that the deceased child had come home from Kolkata last week to celebrate Holi and was fond of cricket.
