Instagram threads reach more than 130 million users

New Delhi. Instagram Threads has reached 130 million monthly active users, up 30 million from the previous quarter. The company gave this information.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said during the company’s fourth-quarter earnings call that Threads is “continuing to grow”.
“I would note that more people are actively using Threads today than during its initial launch peak,” he told analysts. So I think it’s on its way to being a big success.
Threads had a record-breaking launch last July, reaching 100 million registered users within its first five days. But interest waned over time.
Meta’s family of apps, which includes Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp, was used by 3.19 billion people daily in the fourth quarter.
Family monthly actives stood at 3.98 billion as of December 31, 2023, an increase of 6 percent year-on-year.
Meta’s revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $40.1 billion. Net income was $14.02 billion. Revenue for full year 2023 was $134.90 billion.
Zuckerberg said, we had a good quarter as our community and business continue to grow. We have made great progress on our vision of advancing AI and the metaverse.
As of December 31, 2023, the number of employees was 67,317, which is 22 percent less than last year.
