Jean Noel Barrot, junior minister of France’s digital economy department, said that if Apple does not solve the problem, all of France will be asked to withdraw the iPhone 12. He said that this problem can be resolved through a software update.
SR means Standard Absorption Rate, in simple words it means the radiation produced by an electronic device which went into your body. SAR is measured in watts per kilogram of weight. Your phone produces electromagnetic fields from mobile radiation or radio frequencies. However, they do not affect human body cells like X-rays or gamma rays. And no evidence of disease like cancer has been found. But it can prove harmful for health.

According to ANFR, recently a random test of 141 phones of iPhone 12 model was conducted. All the phones were purchased from different parts of France. And these were also tested in an independent laboratory. The radiation level of two of these iPhones did not meet the European Union standards. Both phones received 5.74 watts per kilogram of radiation. The European Union has set a standard of 4 watts per kilogram and has declared this limit to be suitable for the human body.
At the same time, this model also completely met the global radiation standard. Apple said on this that it has also submitted the results of all independent labs apart from Apple to the French agency.
