According to a report on the English website News 18, the viral video on Instagram is from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, where traffic policemen stopped a girl riding a scooter without a helmet for questioning. The report also states that the girl was allegedly riding her mother’s scooter without a helmet. The girl, who was not wearing a helmet, requested the traffic police not to interrogate her when she was stopped. Just last Tuesday, on the afternoon of January 23, 2024, three traffic police zonal officers were suspended following widespread traffic jam on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway. Due to the ban on heavy vehicles entering Delhi from Gurugram till noon for the preparations for Republic Day, the crowd has increased significantly.
