IT Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said this on India’s achievement in the tech sector

Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology (IT) Rajeev Chandrasekhar has said that India’s success in technology adoption has attracted the attention of other countries. He said that countries desirous of digitizing their economy and business operations are greatly influenced by India. The Union Minister said that in the last nine years, India has played a leading role in terms of technology instead of being a mute spectator and consumer.

An official statement said Chandrasekhar, while addressing the World Bank Digital Economy Summit-2023, highlighted India’s success as a ‘case study’ in using technology to transform the lives of citizens. He underlined the achievements made through Digital India in the last nine years. He said that in the last nine years, India has played a leading role in the technology sector instead of being a mute spectator or a consumer. The minister also underlined the pace of digitization of government services.
