However, the engine in this vehicle can be tuned and offered. In this, 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox can be provided with the engine. Mahindra can launch its 5-door Thar with affordable 2-wheel-drivetrain.

Mahindra Thar 5 door SUV car can be given the same features as the 3-door version, in which auto climate control, rear AC vents and push start and stop buttons can be given. It is estimated that an 8-inch touchscreen system can also be provided in it.
