Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee on Monday launched a campaign to remove shops from footpaths and roadsides in Sakchi. On Monday evening, under the leadership of Flying Squad Team of Jamshedpur Axis, Junior Engineer Mahendra Kumar Pradhan, a campaign to remove encroachment was conducted. The campaign was conducted from Sakchi Bada Roundabout to Ramlila Maidan on State Mile Road and from Sakchi Bada Roundabout to Sakchi Number 9 Stand. During this time, shops, carts, kiosks, two-wheelers and four-wheelers installed on the footpath were also removed. Jamshedpur Access officials said that the campaign will continue further. During the campaign, a fine of Rs 20,000 was also collected from shopkeepers who set up their shops beyond the allotted space. Ganesh Ram, Prakash Bhagat, Vinod Tiwari, Krishna etc. were involved in the campaign.
Shops will not be set up in the parking lot
Jamshedpur Access Deputy Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar has ordered not to set up shops in the allotted parking area. A meeting of parking sensors and officials was held at Jamshedpur Access Office on Monday evening. During this period, orders were given not to set up shops in the parking area. Sensors have been warned of action if the rules are not followed. He has taken the above step to improve the parking system of the city. So that vehicles are parked only in the allotted parking spaces of JNAC. He appealed to the drivers not to park their vehicles in no parking areas. So that there is no jam on the road.
