Know in detail how you can access your DigiLocker from Google files

Google is introducing a new feature for Android phone owners. This will allow Android phone users to access DigiLocker using the Google Files app. One type of virtual locker is a digital locker, sometimes referred to as a DigiLocker. You can save all your important papers digitally in DigiLocker and access them whenever you need them. All the files saved in DigiLocker are completely legal.

DigiLocker is a unique type of digital vault. It was started by the government to secure important records or documents in digital format. About 14 crore people use this app. There is no cost associated with this. Your important documents are your driving license, PAN and Aadhaar. This often happens by carrying them around all the time; Either they get lost or they explode. However, there is an easy fix for this as well. These important files can be saved in DigiLocker. You can save both government and private documents using this software. Physical documents, which are recognized in the same way around the world, are considered equivalent to records stored here. However, the problem is how to save the documents.

You must have an Aadhaar number to use DigiLocker

To use DigiLocker the user needs to create an account. For this you will need your Aadhaar number. The cellphone number of the customer should also be linked to their Aadhaar. Aadhaar number has to be entered to login. After that, the mobile number will receive One Time Password (OTP). Once the OTP is entered, the login process will be over.

DigiLocker makes it easy to save documents

Using DigiLocker software you can digitally store a variety of documents including Aadhaar Card, License, PAN Card, Voter ID Card and more. Also, you can upload physical copies of documents and save them in DigiLocker. Here, we describe the process to store driving license in DigiLocker.

Procedure to save driving license on phone

First of all go to DigiLocker website or download the app from Play Store.

– Use your phone number and Aadhaar card to register for DigiLocker.

– After that, log in using your username and six digit PIN.

After that a One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered phone.

– After logging in, select Receive Issued Documents from the menu.

Now scan the search bar for the button “Driving License”.

Select the state government option, if that’s where you got your driver’s license from. Additionally, you have the option to select all states.

– After entering your license number, select Get Document.

Your driving license will now be taken back from the Transport Department through DigiLocker.

– After that, by navigating to the issued documents list, you can view your driver’s license.

– By selecting the PDF button, you can also get the soft copy of the driver’s license.
