Due to non-interlocking work at Chhatteni, Byohari, Duwari Kalan and Bijaysauta stations of Jabalpur division, operation of many trains running through Dhanbad station has been cancelled. According to the information released by the Railways, trains on Kolkata-Madar, Howrah-Bhopal and Kolkata-Ahmedabad have been canceled from both up and down directions on different days. 19608 Madar – Kolkata Express on 8th and 15th April, 19607 Kolkata – Madar Express on 10th and 17th April, 13025 Howrah – Bhopal Express on 8th and 15th April, 13026 Bhopal – Howrah Express on 10th and 17th April, 19413 from 10th to 17th April. Ahmedabad-Kolkata Express, 19414 Kolkata-Ahmedabad Express will remain canceled on 12th and 19th April.
– One pair of special trains will operate between Madar and Howrah:
Regarding passenger convenience, Railways has announced to operate Madar-Howrah-Madar special train via Dhanbad. Train number 09609 Madar-Howrah special will operate from 14th to 21st April and train number 09610 Howrah-Madar special will operate from 16th to 23rd April.
Train No. 09609 Madar – Howrah Special will leave from Madar station at 08.30 am on 14th and 21st April and will reach Howrah station at 6 pm the next day via Jaipur – Agra Fort – Kanpur – Prayagraj – Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay. This train will reach Koderma station at 10.15 am and will depart at 10.17 am. It will reach Dhanbad station at 12.30 pm and will depart from here at 12.35 pm.
Train No. 09610 Howrah- Madar Special will leave Howrah station at 03.00 pm on 16th and 23rd April and will reach Madar station at 09.55 pm the next day via Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay- Prayagraj- Kanpur- Agra Fort- Jaipur. This train will reach Dhanbad station at 08.50 pm and will depart from there at 08.55 pm, while it will reach Koderma station at 11.02 pm and will depart at 11.04 pm.
