Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility for the firing through social media. Anmol has threatened in a viral post on social media. Anmol reportedly said in his post, Salman Khan, this is just a trailer. Threatening, Bishnoi’s brother wrote, after this bullets will not be fired only at home.

When and how did the firing happen outside Salman Khan’s house?

The police officer said that at around 5 am in the morning, two persons fired four bullets outside ‘Galaxy Apartments’ located in Bandra area and ran away. Actor Salman Khan lives in this building. He said security has been beefed up outside Khan’s residence and police are scanning CCTV footage installed around his house to identify the accused. The officer said that a team of local police, crime branch and forensic science experts also reached the spot to collect evidence and investigation into the incident has been started.

Salman Khan has received threats before too

This is not the first time that Salman Khan has received a threat, but earlier in March last year, an e-mail was sent to the actor’s office, after which Mumbai Police filed Indian Penal Code against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar and another. An FIR was registered under Section 120-B and other sections.

Bike of those who fired outside Salman Khan’s house recovered

Mumbai Police said, the motorcycle of those unknown people who had fired outside Salman Khan’s residence has been found. The motorcycle is being examined by the forensic team. Mumbai Crime Branch said, the unknown people who opened fire are from outside Maharashtra. An empty shell was found inside the actor’s house.

Chief Minister Shinde spoke to Salman Khan

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday spoke to Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the wake of the firing incident outside his residence and assured support to the actor. Shinde said that the state government will not allow anyone to take the law into their hands. The Chief Minister said, I spoke to Mumbai Police Commissioner and actor Salman Khan and offered him full support. The firing incident is very unfortunate. I assure the people that this government will not tolerate anyone trying to take the law into their own hands.
