Bihar Crime: A Mahadalit woman was beaten to death for plucking green leaves of corn for goat fodder in Kritianandnagar police station area of Purnia district. This incident took place in the maize field, one hundred meters west, adjacent to Mahadalit Tola located in Kazha Kothi Pokhar, Kazha Panchayat Ward No. 14 of Kennagar police station area on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased Nimaniya Devi (45) was the wife of late Siya Lal Rishi, resident of ward number 14 Kajha Kothi Mahadalit Tola of Kajha Panchayat.
Police Station Head Navdeep Kumar Gupta said that the cause of death will be clear only after the autopsy report comes. He told that no application has been received from the family members of the deceased woman. Action will be taken immediately as soon as the application comes.
The deceased had gone to buy goat fodder
According to the information, the deceased Nimniyan Devi had gone to a maize field near her house to get green fodder for her two goats. He plucked some leaves of maize in that field. Meanwhile, a farmer cultivating maize on lease arrived.
The relatives of the deceased alleged
The relatives of the deceased woman allege that farmer Tipu Mandal and his son Chhotu Mandal, residents of Ward No. 17 of Maize Crop Lease Panchayat, beat up physically weak Nimnia Devi who was plucking maize leaves, due to which she died in the field. Went.
Chaos in the family
On receiving information about the incident, Kennagar police station reached the spot and took the body of the deceased woman in its custody and sent it to GHCH Purnia for post-mortem. Here, after the incident, the two daughters of the deceased woman, Rita Devi, Sita Devi and other family members are in bad condition, crying.
