Maruti Suzuki Car Recall: Maruti Suzuki India has informed that it has recalled 17,362 vehicles of Alto K10, Brezza and Baleno models to check and replace faulty airbags.

The country’s largest carmaker told the stock market that the affected models are Alto K10, S-Presso, Eeco, Brezza, Baleno and Grand Vitara. These were made between 8 December 2022 and 12 January 2023.

The Maruti Suzuki company said, 17,362 vehicles of Alto K10, Brezza and Baleno models are being recalled for free of cost to check and replace the airbag controller.

Maruti Suzuki said that it is suspected that there is a possibility of a defect in the affected part, due to which the airbag and seat belt pretensioner may not function properly in some cases in the event of a vehicle accident.

The auto maker has also said that the customers of the suspected vehicles are advised not to drive the vehicle with extreme caution till the affected part is replaced.
