Maruti Suzuki’s mid-size SUV Grand Vitara will now make a splash in foreign countries as well. India’s largest car company Maruti Suzuki has started exporting its new Grand Vitara SUV. Maruti Suzuki India said it has started exports of sports utility vehicle Grand Vitara and its first consignment is being sent to Latin America.
The country’s leading car manufacturer and exporter aims to export the model to over 60 countries in Latin America, Africa, Middle East, ASEAN and neighboring regions. The company said, supporting the government’s efforts to increase exports from India, Maruti Suzuki has taken several initiatives to enhance its international presence. With the addition of the Grand Vitara, we now export 17 vehicles,” Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India, said in a statement.
The Grand Vitara is a mid-size SUV and is the first car from Maruti Suzuki to get a hybrid engine. Equipped with many great features, this SUV is the second vehicle from Maruti Suzuki to come with a sunroof feature after the new Brezza. With stunning looks and a host of features, the most mileage efficient SUV Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara price starts at Rs 10.45 Lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 19.65 Lakh (ex-showroom).
The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara comes in mild and strong hybrid powertrain options. This SUV from Maruti has many variants in trim levels like Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Zeta+, Alpha and Alpha+. Maruti’s Grand Vitara SUV is equipped with a 1.5-liter petrol engine, which is capable of generating 115 hp power and 141 Nm torque.
