Mentorship meet organized in XLRI, chief guest shared his experience

Jamshedpur: Bookish knowledge is important, but it is equally important to correlate that knowledge with the industry. Students should have knowledge of the industry and its needs during their studies. For this, it is necessary that efforts be made at the level of educational institutions. For any student to be successful, it is important that there is a mentor in his life who guides him from time to time. Apart from this, he should also have good networking and passion for doing any work. KPMG Associate Partner Nishat Moheb Usmani said these things. He was present as the chief guest during the mentorship program Sarthana 2024 organized for PGDM (GM) students at XLRI. He shared many experiences related to his life with the students. Before this, the program was launched with a band performance. Present on the first day were Professor Kanagaraj of XLRI, Professor Sunil Sarangi and Dr. (Major) Rupinder Kaur, an alumnus of IIM Indore. During this, the three professors mainly told the PGDM (GM) students that for career building, it is important that they not only have good knowledge of the subjects but also have exposure to them. The second day started with yoga. Art of Living coach cum XLRI student Shatakshi made everyone do various yoga asanas. The program was conducted by Mitu Gandhi and Devesh Lal. Bhavana Rukmani, Ramanathan, Pranav Verma, Shatakshi Kaushal, Suraj Mishra and Rishikesh GR had important contributions in organizing the program.
