FADA had launched the Model Dealer Agreement (MDA) in September last year. It aims to make the traditionally ‘one-sided deal’ between vehicle manufacturers and their dealers more balanced.

FADA President Manish Raj Singhania said in a statement, “The Model Dealer Agreement is an important part of the new era in the relationship between the dealer association and the management, which will bring together OEMs and dealers to provide the latest, cutting-edge products and services to Indian customers. Gives a chance to work together.

He said, ‘Nine OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) have personally inquired about the model dealer agreement and we are happy to inform that the response from all of them has been very positive. I am happy to announce that today after two years of hard work by FADA, MG Motor (India) has cleared the MDA.

Among the issues that have been demanded to be considered prominently under the MDA, the problems faced by the dealers due to foreign vehicle manufacturers leaving India are also included.
