San Francisco. Microsoft has fixed a web access issue affecting Outlook users in North America.
The company tweeted from its ‘Microsoft 365 Status’ account on Tuesday that “we are investigating Outlook for a web access issue affecting customers. Please visit the Service Health Dashboard in the Admin Center under ex610644 for more information.” ”
Early Wednesday, the company posted: “We have confirmed that deployment of the fix is complete. More details can be found in the Admin Center under ex610644.”
Several users reported this problem on Twitter. One user wrote, “How long until Microsoft will fix their mobile web Outlook app?”
According to online outage monitor Website DownDetector, about 67 percent of people encountered and reported problems when using Outlook, 23 percent when using websites and 10 percent when logging in.
The tech giant had claimed that a Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) outage was the reason for the service shutdown earlier this month.(IANS)
