More than one Fastag will be de-activated

Control on those committing fraud in FASTag
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has implemented the One Vehicle One Fastag rule across the country from April 1, 2024. Actually, this rule has been implemented to stop those who commit fraud by making more than one Fastag for one vehicle. Not only this, many people were making Fastag in someone else’s name and using it for their own vehicle. Those who have more than one FASTag, willingly put the FASTag on the windshield just for show, but used another card for payment. But now after the implementation of the new rule, this fraud will be stopped.
More than one FASTag will be de-activated
Now after the implementation of the rule of One Vehicle One Fastag, people who have more than one Fastag for one car will be de-activated. Now they will have to do KYC of only one Fastag. Unless they get their valid Fastag KYCed, it will not be activated and then they will have to pay more money at the toll plaza. Not only this, the Fastag of the person who does not get KYC done can also be blacklisted.

You will not be able to use even the existing balance in FASTag.
Not only this, if someone has more than one Fastag for one vehicle and there is balance in it, then after April 1 they will not be able to use it. For this, they will have to get KYC done in any case. The money of more than one Fastag will be wasted without any use.
