From here the IT minister has said that all the data of the Beep Pakistan app will be stored in the local server in Pakistan only. This eliminates the risk of audio and video leaks. The biggest feature of this app is that it is 100 percent secure. In the first phase, this app will be used for internal communication between the Ministry of IT and Communications of Pakistan and NITB. Then gradually it will be made available to other ministries and departments. After this, in the third phase, the app will be made available to the people of entire Pakistan.

Audio and video calling has been supported in the Beep Pakistan chat app. Features like document sharing, end to end encryption and instant messaging have been provided with captions.
