Tata Tiago EV: Honorary Chairman of Tata Sons and India’s philanthropic veteran industrialist Ratan Tata has given a bonus gift on Tata Tiago EV car to the poor (lower middle class) of the country on Holi 2024. Holi bonus of Rs 65,000 on Tata Tiago EV

According to media reports, Tata Motors is giving a green bonus of around Rs 50,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 on the 2023 model of Tata Tiago EV car. Apart from this, an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 and an exchange offer of Rs 10,000 is being offered on the 2024 model. After the discount offer on Tata Tiago EV, customers can save up to Rs 72,000. The price of this electric car in the ex-showroom of India is between Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 11.89 lakh.

Variants of Tata Tiago EV

Ratan Tata’s vehicle manufacturing company Tata Motors has launched Tata Tiago EV in the market with a total of four variants. These include XE, XT, XZ Plus and XZ Plus Luxury. This is a five seater car, in which at least five people can sit and reach their destination comfortably.

Tata Tiago EV battery pack and range

Tata Motors’ electric car Tata Tiago EV has two battery pack options, 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh. The electric motor installed in it along with these battery packs generates 61 PS power and 104 Nm torque and 75 PS power and 114 Nm torque respectively. This electric car gives a range of 250 kilometers with a 19.2 kWh battery pack, while it covers a distance of up to 315 kilometers with a 24 kWh battery pack.

Charging of Tata Tiago EV

Tata Tiago EV hatchback car supports four charging options: 15A socket charger, 3.3 kW AC charger, 7.2 kW AC charger and DCT fast charger. This car gets fully charged in 3.5 hours through a 7.2 kW AC charger, whereas it takes 57 minutes to charge from 10 to 80 percent through a DC fast charger.

Features and safety of Tiago EV

Tata Motors’ electric car has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, four-speaker Harmon sound system, auto AC, foldable ORVMs, rain sensing wipers and steering-mounted controls. Apart from this, features like cruise control and regenerative braking are also available in it. For the safety of passengers, it has been provided with dual front airbags, cornering brake control, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ABS with EBD and rearview camera.
