Reddit introduces new separate video feed feature

San Francisco. Social discussion forum Reddit has rolled out a new feature that splits text and video posts into separate feeds. The company announced the new feature on Tuesday, saying that video content on the platform will be pulled into the ‘Watch Feed’ view, while text content will appear in the ‘Read Feed’.
“We have an inspiring and enduring mission to bring community, belonging and empowerment to the world, so we’re doubling down on making Reddit simpler, with a focus on user satisfaction and international growth,” said Pali Bhat, Chief Product Officer, Reddit. It’s about making Reddit easier to use for everyone.”
“By focusing on the core principles of Reddit, new and existing users coming to Reddit will be greeted by an improved experience and options to discover new and interesting content and communities in uncharted places,” he added.
Last month, Reddit announced that users can now search for comments within posts on desktop, iOS and Android.(IANS)
