According to a report, Samsung is targeting Apple users with a unique update to its Try Galaxy app. This enables iPhone users to simulate the experience of using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold by placing two iPhones side by side. According to a report in CNET, a recent update to the Tri Galaxy app developed by the South Korean tech giant enables users to replicate the experience of using Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold by placing two iPhones next to each other. It is also available on Android phones. However, Samsung has now extended the compatibility of the Tri Galaxy app to include iPhones.
Reportedly, Samsung gave a QR code in its press release for iPhone users to scan while using the app. This QR code enables adding a shortcut to Samsung’s Trai Galaxy app on the iPhone’s home screen. Upon launching this shortcut, a simulation of Samsung’s One UI Android software is displayed. For users who have two iPhones available, it is possible to use them together to mimic the appearance of the software as it would appear on Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold.
The report further states that there are several shortcut displays that are easy to use in this mode. These include an air hockey game and an animated ocean scene with a whale and other aquatic creatures swimming across the screen. The report states that while these demos may not fully emulate the real experience of using the Galaxy Z Fold, Samsung’s intent is clear: to demonstrate the potential for apps to exist across the two displays.
As per the report, the Korean giant’s display shows how apps work in split-screen mode, providing valuable insight for users considering the transition to a foldable device.
