Hyundai Alcazar Variants and Price

Hyundai Alcazar SUV is available in a total of eight variants. Prestige is available in Executive, Prestige (O), Platinum, Platinum (O), Signature, Signature (O), Signature Dual Tone and Signature (O) Dual-Tone. The company has also recently launched a new Adventure Edition of Alcazar, which is based on its Platinum and Signature (O) variants. This vehicle comes in 6 seater and 7 seater configuration. It is available at ex-showroom prices ranging from Rs 16.77 lakh to Rs 21.23 lakh.

Hyundai Alcazar Engines and Transmissions

Instead of the 2-litre petrol engine, a new 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine has been included in Hyundai’s Alcazar, which is capable of generating 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque. The option of 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission) has been kept with this engine. Apart from this, it also has a 1.5-litre diesel engine, with which the option of 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox has been kept. Both these engines now come with idle start and stop function. This vehicle has three drive modes Eco, City and Sport and three traction modes Snow, Sand and Mud.

Features of Hyundai Alcazar

The feature list of Hyundai Alcazar, which competes with Tata Safari, includes 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system, auto climate control, wireless phone charging and cruise control. Apart from this, it also has ventilated front seats, voice controlled panoramic sunroof and dual camera dash cam setup.

Safety Features and Competition of Hyundai Alcazar

For the safety of the passengers, Hyundai Alcazar has been provided with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), all wheel disc brakes and ISOFIX child seat anchors. Apart from this, it is also provided with Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Rear Parking Camera and ABS with EBD. Its competition in the market is MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV 700 and Tata Safari.
