Svitch CSR 762 Electric Bike: Ahmedabad-based two-wheeler electric start-up Switch Group has launched the new CSR 762 electric motorcycle in the market, more than a year after it was first announced. The company had revealed the production-ready switch CSR 762 in October last year. Its price has been declared by the company as Rs 1.90 lakh. The new e-motorcycle will be the first in its category, with 40 liters of space for the helmet at the front. The company also claims a top speed of 120 kmph and a range of 190 km on a single charge.
Booking for just Rs 1
The biggest thing is that the Switch CSR 762 electric motorcycle can be pre-booked for as low as Re 1. The company’s website shows that it has already received more than 12,000 orders. The company has confirmed that deliveries will start in August this year. The CSR 762 electric motorcycle will compete with the similarly priced Torq Kratos R and Mater Era in the market.
Features of Switch CSR 762
CSR 762 e-bike is available in three color options. It has LED DRL on the front. Power comes from a 3 kW (4 bhp) PMS electric motor, which generates maximum power of 10 kW (13.4 bhp) at 3,800 rpm. Its peak torque is 165 Nm and reduces to 55 Nm and the top speed becomes 120 kmph.
Battery Pack of Switch CSR 762
The Switch CSR 762 has two 3.6 kWh lithium-ion swappable battery packs, which come with a range of 190 km on a single charge. The range has increased by 30 km since the production model was announced in October last year. Switch says the e-bike does not require liquid cooling and uses air cooling technology for the motor and other critical components.

Dealership of Switch CSR 762
Two-wheeler maker Switch says it has started the Expression of Interest (EOI) campaign and aims to select cities with high interest to open dealerships to improve reach to potential customers. The company had earlier announced plans to open outlets in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. With the opening of the pre-booking window, the company will call dealership locations after receiving around one lakh EOIs before March 31, 2024.
