Medininagar: Police recovered 4 kg 400 grams of ganja along with a tablet worth Rs 26 lakh from Kot Khas of Lesliganj police station area of ​​Palamu district of Jharkhand. The police have also arrested the husband and wife from the spot. Accused husband Vishnu Singh has a criminal history. Two cases each are registered against him in Lesliganj police station. Husband and wife were selling ganja from home
Palamu SP said that the police had received information that ganja, intoxicating tablets and syrup were being sold indiscriminately by the accused husband and wife in their house. Vishnu Singh and Phuleshwari Devi are husband and wife. On the instructions of SP, Lesliganj SDPO formed a team and conducted the raid. During this time, four kilograms 400 grams of ganja, codeine phosphate and triproladine hydrochloride syrup 141 bottles, Nitrogen 963 tablets, Alprazolam 3487 tablets, Spasmo Proxyvon Plus 1440 tablets, a small brass scale of 200 grams, 100 grams, 20 grams, 10 grams were recovered from the house of the accused. Gram weights and 50 paise coin were recovered. Rs 15,350 in cash kept in a steel tiffin box has been recovered.

The accused has a criminal history
SP told that all the tablets and syrups have been seized. All are intoxicating tablets. It was sold by these people in black at higher prices. Told that the price of Nitrosan tablet is Rs 67, but it was sold for Rs 400. He told that Vishnu Singh had a previous criminal history. Two cases are registered against this in Lesliganj police station. Told that his son has also gone to jail in a murder case. SDPO Manoj Kumar Jha, Police Sub Inspector Raju Kumar Gupta, Vikramsheel, Assistant Sub Inspector Arun Kumar Bauri, Sachchidanand Sharma, Havildar Devnis Kerketta, Constable Dharmendra Ram, Harendra Ram, Female Constable Sumiran Prabha Mundu, Driver Sanjay Kumar Srivastava were involved in this raid. .

Here, Palamu Police of Jharkhand has recovered 50 kg of ganja worth Rs 25 lakh from the private bus stand of the city police station area. With this, four smugglers from Odisha have been arrested. There was an attempt to smuggle this ganja into Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of Holi, but Palamu police foiled their attempt.
