Honda Creta facelift to compete with Tata Curve
South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai Motor has recently launched the facelift variant of its popular model Creta in the market. The base variant of Hyundai Creta facelift is priced at Rs 11 lakh and its top variant is priced at Rs 20 lakh, ex-showroom India. This car comes in a total of seven variants, which include E, EX, S, S (O), SX, SX Tech and SX (O). Apart from this, it is available in six monotone and one dual tone color options. Its colors include Robust Emerald Pearl (new), Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey, and Atlas White with Black Roof. Talking about the features provided in it, this SUV car has dual integrated 10.25-inch display with connected car technology (one for infotainment system and one for instrumentation), dual-zone AC, 8-speaker Bose sound system, panoramic sunroof, Wireless phone charging, 8-way power adjustable driver seat and ventilated front seats are provided.
There is tough competition from Kia Seltos also
Seltos is the SUV car of Hyundai’s subsidiary Kia Motors. It has once again been introduced with the option of diesel manual transmission. The ex-showroom price of this car in India starts from Rs 10.90 lakh, which goes up to Rs 20.30 lakh. This car comes in three variants Tech Line (HT), GT Line and X-Line. HTE, HTK, HTK Plus, HTX and HTX Plus variants are available under Tech Line. At the same time, its GT line comes in two variants, GTX Plus (S) and GTX Plus. Affordable X-Line (S) variant has been launched on the occasion of festive season.
Know about the upcoming Tata Curve
The design of the upcoming Curve EV car, which has been patented by Tata Motors, has been spotted several times during testing. Based on its spy shots, its engine specifications and features as well as price are being estimated. According to an estimate, after its launch in the market, its starting price from Tata Motors may start from around Rs 10.50 lakh. It is expected to come in five seater configuration. The company can launch it in the market by April 2024.

According to a report by auto sector website CarDekho.com, the Tata Curve will be provided with a new 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine, which will generate 125PS of power and 225Nm of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) can be provided with the engine.

Tata Curve SUV car can be given features like 10.25-inch digital driver display, large touchscreen infotainment system, touch-enabled climate control panel, and panoramic glass roof. Apart from this, features like ventilated seats, cruise control and push button start-stop can also be provided in it.
Safety features and competition of Tata Curve
It has been told in the report that for the safety of passengers in Tata Curve, 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors, 360 degree camera and ISOFIX child seat anchor can be provided as safety features. Apart from this, Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) can also be provided in it, under which functions like autonomous emergency braking and blind spot assist can also be seen. After its launch in the market, this car may compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Toyota Urban Cruiser Highrider, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Citroen C3 Aircross and MG Astor.
