New Delhi. When it comes to low-light Diwali photography, the main 48-megapixel camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max has won praise from professional photographers in India.

According to renowned travel photographer Gursimran Basra, the new functionality of 48 megapixel high resolution images enables capturing more details in a single photograph.

He told IANS, ‘The night mode of iPhone 15 Pro Max is impressive. After focusing on the subject, we need to keep the phone steady while the night mode is displayed. This enables clear photos to be taken even in low light.

Along with the new 5x optical zoom, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a Portrait mode that is equivalent to a 120mm telephoto lens.

Basra said, in low light, the details of the lamp and the natural light of the lamp can capture beautiful photos of loved ones. The final results will be fantastic.

With the festive season upon us, one can capture videos in well-lit environments using the iPhone’s main 48-megapixel camera to capture details. One can also experiment with the Cinematic mode (4,000 HDR) and capture the emotions of loved ones during Diwali.

Travel photographer and filmmaker Siddharth Joshi recommends shooting with a standard wide lens, as it captures more light and gives the best results.

Joshi told IANS, if you want to capture more details and want to process the image later on some editing software, then shoot in Apple RAW. Night shots will always have more noise. A good way to avoid this is to use ambient light on your subject.

The additional light will help bring out the subject better. If you’re shooting video, flicker can occur when shooting with all the beautiful electrical lights at home.

That said, to eliminate this, go to camera settings, turn on ‘Show PAL Format,’ and then shoot your video at 25 fps (frames per second). As you move around, the color of the light in your frame will change and the white balance will also change. It is best to lock the white balance in the camera settings to get seamless videos.
