Unlimited 5G service was being offered for free by Reliance Jio and Airtel. Meaning users were offered free unlimited 5G data on recharge of Rs 249 or more. But Vodafone-Idea’s Jio and Airtel did not like this offer. Vi itself does not offer 5G service. But reached to gossip with TRAI against free unlimited 5G data of Jio and Airtel. VI complains that Jio and Airtel’s free unlimited 5G data should be banned. Because this will cause huge loss to other telecom companies like Vodafone in the competition.TRAI can issue a decision
After this, TRAI can ban the free unlimited 5G data of Jio and Airtel. According to Financial Express, a decision in this matter can be issued soon by TRAI. Actually Vi had expressed displeasure over Jio and Airtel’s unlimited free 5G data.

Vi’s complaint
Vi says that both Jio and Airtel have about 30 percent stake in each telecom circle. The same companies are offering 5G service on 4G recharge, making it difficult for Vodafone Idea to do business. Vi has not offered 5G service. But the company is definitely releasing 5G ready sim.

Will have to make these changes
TRAI has agreed that unlimited data should not be offered by Jio and Airtel in any plan, as it is against FUP ie Fair Usage Policy. In such a situation, Jio and Airtel will have to provide 5G data plan only on 4G plan with daily data limit. After the same daily data limit is over, the speed will have to be reduced.
