San Francisco. Twitter’s rival Threads will soon introduce an auto-delete feature under which users can choose to delete their posts that are a few months old.
In response to a feature request regarding auto-deleting posts after 90 days, Instagram head Adam Mosseri wrote on Monday, “I was thinking about 30 days auto-deleting, but maybe 90 days depending on user choice.” Have a better day…”
Meta launched Threads last week for iOS and Android users in 100 countries. It is currently the top free app on the App Store.
Within days of launch, Threads has crossed 90 million user sign-ups.
Meanwhile, Twitter owner Elon Musk mocked Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Sunday, saying “Zuk is a cuck”.
Last week, Musk said, “Competition is fine, but copying is not.”
Musk hit back at Zuckerberg in 2017, saying the meta CEO had a “limited” understanding of artificial intelligence.
