According to the scriptures, Holi with colors is played on the Pratipada date of Chaitra month. According to the Panchang, Pratipada date of Chaitra month is on Wednesday, 26 March. Therefore, according to the scriptures, Holi should be celebrated on 26 March.

When will the lunar eclipse occur?

Astrologer Shripati Tripathi Told that the lunar eclipse will begin on March 25 i.e. tomorrow at 10:30 am and will end at 3:02 pm. The duration of this eclipse will be approximately 4 hours 36 minutes. The first lunar eclipse of the year will take place in Virgo. However, this lunar eclipse will not be visible in India. But, still it will affect all the people.

Know whether Sutak period will be valid or not

Some pundits also say that according to the Panchang, the first lunar eclipse of the year will occur on the full moon day of Shukla Paksha of Phalgun month. This lunar eclipse will not be visible in India, due to which its Sutak period will also not be valid. Therefore, Holi worship and Holi of colors can be played in India. Because lunar eclipse is not visible in India, this eclipse will not have any effect on Holi. Along with this, there will be no ban on any religious work or worship. Today, Bhadrakaal is from 9.23 am to 10.38 pm. Holika Dahan is not auspicious during Bhadra period. Therefore, Holika Dahan will be auspicious and auspicious only after 10:38 pm tonight.
