Six color options have been given in Mahindra Thar, which include Everest White (new), Blazing Bronze (new), Aquamarine, Red Rage, Napoli Black and Galaxy Grey. Talking about the color of Maruti Jimny, it comes in two dual-tone and five singletone color shades, which include Kinetic Yellow-Bluish Black Roof, Sizzling Red-Bluish Black Roof, Sizzling Red, Granite Grey, Nexa Blue, Blueish Includes Black and Pearl Arctic White. Four people can sit in this 5-door off-roading car. Its ground clearance is 210 mm. Its boot space is 208 liters, which can be increased to 332 liters by tumble down the rear seats.

Mahindra Thar is available in three engine options, which include 2-litre turbo petrol (150PS/320Nm), 2.2-litre diesel (130PS/300Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel (118PS/300Nm). A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard with all engines, while a 6-speed automatic gearbox is also available with the 2-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines. Thar car is available in both four-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive options. Whereas, Maruti Jimny has a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which generates power of 105PS and torque of 134Nm. Along with the engine, it has the option of 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic gearbox. It has a standard 4×4 drivetrain.
