Bajaj Auto has seen an increase in demand for its Pulsar and Platina range in the domestic and export markets. The company’s total sales (domestic + exports) crossed 3,32,223 units in November 2023, an increase of 82,492 units as compared to 2,49,731 units in November 2022. However, total sales (domestic + exports) of 3,88,428 units in October 2023 have declined compared to the previous month.

Bajaj Auto’s total domestic sales have increased by 76.37 percent on an annual basis, while exports have decreased by 6.65 percent last month. The company has planned to promote its 125cc Pulsar range. Testing of the new P125 is also going on. Once launched, it will compete with TVS Raider 125, Honda SP 125, and Hero Glamour. By March 2024, the company plans to upgrade 6 Pulsar models in the 125-200cc range.

Bajaj Auto sales in the domestic market have increased by 76.37 percent to 2,10,532 units in November 2023, which is more than 1,19,367 units in November 2022. This has resulted in a volume growth of 91,165 units. The company’s portfolio has seen growth in sales of CT, Chetak, and Avenger as well as Pulsar and Platina.
Dominar and Pulsar sales
However, there has been a slight decline in the sales of Dominar. Last month, Pulsar sales have increased by 79.29 percent to 1,30,403 units, which has increased from 72,735 units in November 2022, bringing a 61.94 percent share in this list. The Pulsar range, which includes 125cc and 150cc models, recorded high sales last month with sales of 77,711 units and 28,373 units respectively, registering a growth of 72.03 per cent and 109.62 per cent year-on-year.

Pulsar 200cc sales have also increased by 39.76 percent to 18,947 units, while Pulsar 250cc sales have increased by 1043 percent to 5,372 units in November 2023, from only 470 units in November 2022. Bajaj Platina sales have also increased by 79.83 percent annually. It has increased from 33,702 units sold to 60,607 units in November 2022 with 28.79 percent share.
Pulsar tops the charts in the domestic market
CT sales have increased by 15.69 percent to 8,643 units from 7,471 units sold in November 2022, while the 110cc model has attracted more attention with 6,957 units sold last month, a year-on-year growth of 98.26 percent. However, sales of CT 125cc have declined by 57.45 percent on an annual basis to 1,686 units.
Chetak and Avenger sales
Bajaj Chetak, which is currently the third best-selling electric scooter in the country, sold a total of 8,472 units last month, which is 153.20 percent more than 1,300 units in November 2022. At the same time, Avenger sales have increased by 24 percent to 1,612 units in November 2023, while Dominar sales have decreased by 2.21 percent to 795 units.
