For this, Yogi Adityanath’s government of Uttar Pradesh has deployed the eco-friendly Tata Tigor EV car to welcome the guests attending the grand ceremony organized in Ayodhya. This new electric car of Tata Motors has recently been launched in India. Yogi Adityanath government has deployed 15 four-wheeler electric vehicles (EVs) for intercity travel between Ayodhya and Lucknow to promote eco-friendly transport during the grand ceremony organized for the inauguration of Ram Temple. Along with this, the government aims to convert Ayodhya into an eco-friendly religious place. The biggest thing is that soon more electric cars will be available at major places for tourists in Ayodhya.
Booking through mobile app and this is the fare
According to media reports, these cars will be made available on a mobile app, through which tourists will be able to easily book them to travel to Ram Janmabhoomi, Suraj Kund, Saryu River, Bharat Kund and other religious places. The fare of these electric cars will start from Rs 250 for 10 km, Rs 400 for 20 km and Rs 3000 for 12 hours rental. The Tata Tigor EV comes with a claimed range of 315 km on a single charge, which is enough to meet most travel requirements within Ayodhya.
Tigor EV trial run begins
The trial run of Tata Tigor EV cars deployed for guests and tourists in Ayodhya has already started for the passengers coming to Ayodhya Cantt station. People using these electric cars are being encouraged to share their experiences. The passengers arriving at Ayodhya railway station have appreciated the development in Ayodhya and their electric car journey. Apart from the introduction of these EVs, an e-kart service has been commissioned in Ayodhya since the last Deepotsav, which will provide transportation for six passengers. This service has been specially designed for elderly visitors heading to Hanuman Garhi, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi and other sites.
Features of Tata Tigor EV car
Tata Tigor EV car has received a new update, new variants, new color options and some new features have been included in it. The ex-showroom price of this EV car starts from Rs 12.49 lakh, which goes up to Rs 13.75 lakh. Tigor EV is available in four variants XE, XT, XZ Plus and XZ Plus Lux.

Tata Tigor EV car has Ziptron EV technology from Nexon Electric. Tigor Electric has a 26kWh battery pack. The electric motor installed in it generates power of 75PS and torque of 170Nm.

It takes 8.5 hours to charge the battery of Tata Tigor EV car from 0 to 80 percent with a standard wall charger. Its battery gets charged in 60 minutes with 25kWh DC fast charger. Its ARAI certified range is 315 kilometers.

Tata Tigor EV car has features like 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, multi-mode regenerative braking, cruise control, auto AC, height adjustable driver seat and electric foldable ORVMs. Features like leatherette upholstery, auto headlight and connected car technology are also provided in it.
Safety features and competition of Tata Tigor EV car
For the safety of the passengers, Tata Tigor EV car gets safety features like ABS with EBD, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Tire Pressure Repair Kit, Dual Front Airbags and Hill Assist-Descent Control, Rear Defogger, Rear Parking Sensor and Rear View Camera. Features are available. Currently there is no car in the market that can compete with it. It can be chosen as a premium option from Tata Tiago EV and Citroen C3 EV.
