N Chandrasekaran said Tata Group is setting up Tata Electronics’ proposed Rs 91,000 crore chip manufacturing plant in Dholera, Gujarat and a Rs 27,000 crore chip assembly plant in Assam. These plants will generate approximately 72,000 jobs in the coming years. Not only this, the semiconductor plants of Tata Electronics will gradually supply chips and serve all the areas in a phased manner.

At present, Tata Motors is at the forefront in India in terms of market share of electric cars. Said that Tata Group has set a target that 70 percent green energy will be used by 2030.
