The redesigned Punch EV gets a new set of LED headlamps, an updated EV-specific grille and a redesigned front bumper with LED light bar. It is expected that the front profile of the company’s new car may be inspired by the design of Nexon EV facelift.
When will Tata Punch EV be launched?
Tata Motors can launch Punch EV in the Indian car market in January or February of 2024. At the same time, regarding its price, it is being estimated that the starting price of the ex-showroom can be fixed by the company at around Rs 12 lakh. As far as the seating capacity of this car is concerned, Tata Punch EV can be a 5 seater electric car. At least five people can sit and travel easily in it.

A closer look at the interior of the test car reveals that a large floating touchscreen infotainment system has been installed on its dashboard. This unit is taken from the recently launched Nexon EV. Features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital instrument cluster, new steering wheel, automatic climate control, rotary gear selector dial, wireless charger, auto dimming IRVM, ambient lighting and electric adjustable sunroof can be provided in it.

Two battery pack options can be given in Tata Punch EV car and its certified range can be more than 500 kilometers. When fully charged, its range can be claimed to be 200-300 kilometers. Like other electric cars of Tata, braking regeneration mode can be given in it.
Features of Tata Punch EV
Talking about the features of Tata Punch EV, it is being estimated that features like touchscreen system, full digital driver display and touch-based climate control panel can be provided in it. Apart from this, features like push button start and stop and crew control can also be found in it. Apart from this, if we talk about the safety features provided for the safety of passengers, then it can get features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and rearview camera. At the same time, it is also being said that it can compete with Citroen EC3 in the Indian market. This vehicle will be a more premium option than MG Comet EV and Tiago EV.
